Attorney Application: Mentoring CLE Certificate

Attorneys who have completed a lawyer-to-lawyer mentoring program pursuant to Illinois Supreme Court Rule 795(d)(12) should submit this online application for professional responsibility CLE credit. Rule 795(d)(12) provides that lawyers completing a comprehensive year-long structured mentoring program, as either a mentor or new lawyer, may earn credit equal to the minimum professional responsibility credit during the two-year reporting period of completion, provided that the mentoring plan is preapproved by the Commission on Professionalism, the completion is attested to by both mentor and new lawyer, and completion occurs during the first three years of the new lawyer’s practice in Illinois.

Mentoring CLE Certificate applications are auto-confirmed via e-mail. Your application will be processed within 10 days of receipt. Upon application approval, your CLE certificate will be sent via email along with a brief Mentoring Program Survey. Feedback on your mentoring program experience will assist our endeavor for continuous improvement in programs and services.
