Wellness

Attorneys suffer from mental illness and addictions at a much greater rate than does the general population. The health and wellbeing of Illinois attorneys is a central concern to the Court, reflected by the fact that Supreme Court Rule 794(d) defines professional responsibility continuing legal education to include mental illness and addiction issues. The Commission on Professionalism is in the process of developing programs designed to support the health and wellbeing of attorneys.
