The Commission is pleased to be working closely with the 17th Circuit in developing a model professionalism initiative. With the participation of representatives of the various organizations within the Circuit, Chief Judge Kathryn Zenoff convened a planning meeting in January, 2007. The result was the creation of a Professionalism Coalition, and a drafting committee to begin work on creating a 17th Circuit Code of Conduct. The drafting committee will present a Code of Conduct to be adopted by the attorneys of the circuit. Other projects are currently being discussed and planned for implementation.
