Great Practitioners Oral History
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to hear Abraham Lincoln, in his own words, describe his life as an Illinois lawyer? Unfortunately, we will never be able to have that remarkable experience. However, the Commission is working with the Academy of Illinois Lawyers and other organizations across the state to compile an oral history of the great practitioners of today so that future generations will be able to hear their stories in their own words.
The first group of exemplary professionals that will be interviewed for this important project are those who have been selected as “Laureates” of the Academy. To see the list of those distinguished lawyers, go to: www.isba.org/laureates/laureates.html.
